We are made to create. We are intrinsically creative. What if everything we create in this world will be the basis of our happiness. Wouldn't we grab it by both hands

"In the beginning God created..." Gen1:1. If this is the beginning of the bible, then Creation is the first thing that God needed to do and it is the first thing He wanted us to know about. He is the creator of everything and he created everything. Create, Created, Creator, Creation, Creative. Creativity.
“In the beginning God created...” Gen1:1
Genesis 1v27 then goes on to say that "God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them"
We are created in God's image and we are therefore co-creators with God. Adam's first job on the earth was to name all the creatures of the earth. That certain must have taken a whole lot of creativity and imagination. (#creation)
Make.
In Exodus we discover that Moses was given the instructions of how God wanted His people to worship(#Exodus35) and the it is the first time it is mentioned in the Bible that someone is filled with the Holy Spirit: "See the Lord has chosen Bezalet son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and he has filled him with the spirit of God...." (v30) but it doesn't stop there, it continues "...with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts." (v32)
Wow! As a creative person, wouldn't we want to have all these gifts. These were all the verses and thoughts that through devotions that God gave me as I worked through whether to take my creative life onto another level. As God does, He didn't leave it there, He gave me the final word with His words: "And he given....them the ability to teach others. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroderiers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine line and weavers - all of them skilled workers and designers." (v34-35).
As up to now I have been doing the work of designer, laser cutter & engraver and I have recently taken up embrodiery art. I felt like those words jumped out of the page for me.
So with an excited heart. I knew the direction I must move from now.
