Miracles Matter

Sometimes in the process of heading to a new dream, we certainly need confirmation that we are on the right path. We may doubt ourselves, or question our sanity and it certainly makes it worse if people in your circle brings on questions that you don't have answers to - Yet! (#smallmiracles)

The Bible is full of miracles and stories of faith and nothing builds your faith quite like the small miracles in your life.

Being in the process of getting my faith-life back on track and with it, my creative-life back on track. These definitively go hand in hand for me.

I wanted to know whether I was understanding correctly about the direction God wanted me to go in life. I wanted to close my business after 7 years and go into being an artist full time and God had confirmed with me through scripture that was exactly what I must do. The other area is that I feel him calling me back to teaching art. Teaching is my original training but not my first love. So I said to God that firstly I would need fabric, to be able to run workshops. Second, I would need a sewing machine. I didn't have the budget for a sewing machine at this point in life. So as we meant to be proactive, I put out a call for fabric pieces and was given 6 bags of gorgeous scraps. I was chatting to an art friend who has offered to give me teaching time in her art classes, about needing a sewing machine. "Oh she says, my mother is moving and is wanting to get rid of her machine." For the tiny price I got a simple sewing machine but it does everything I want it to.

So that was my confirmation and that is the direction that I'm building and preparing for now. So ask for the miracles and they will come (#seekaskfind).
